What Are the Health Benefits of Pneumatic Compression Pumps?

  • Help Manage Pain
  • Help Reduce Swelling
  • Help increase Circulation
  • Promote Wound Healing and Prevent Infection
  • Improve Lymphatic and Vascular Flow
  • Aids in the Prevention of DVT

What is Lymphedema?

Lymphedema refers to tissue swelling caused by an accumulation of fluid that’s  normally  drained though the lymphatic system. It can occur in the arms, chest, leg, groin, or trunk abdomen area of the body.
This build-up often causes swelling and discomfort as well as other issues.

What is Chronic Venous Insufficiency?

Chronic Venous Insufficiency  is the improper functioning of the vein valves in the leg, causing swelling and skin changes. Normally, the vein valves keep blood moving back toward the .heart
Symptoms include varicose veins, swelling, or skin color changes on the affected leg. If the condition progresses, leg ulcers can form.

What id Deep vein Thrombosis DVT?

Deep vein thrombosis (DVT) occurs when a blood clot forms in one or more of the deep veins in the body, usually in the legs. This condition is serious because blood clots can loosen and lodge in the lung. There may be symptoms of redness, pain or swelling but not always. This can occur post-surgery, being sedentary for a long period or from an accident or trauma

How Does Lymph Node Removal Cause Lymphedema?

During surgery for cancer (including breast cancer), lymph nodes are often removed, which disrupts the flow of lymph fluid causing Lymphedema. This can happen months or years after surgery. Radiation can also be a factor. It is important to get treatment at first signs of lymphedema to lesson future complications.

Conditions treated by

Total Compression Pumps

We provide more than just a medical device; we provide a healthier way to live. TCP’s pumps are specifically designed to remedy these health-related ailments:

What Is Peripheral Artery Disease (PAD)?

Peripheral artery disease, or PAD, is a circulatory problem where an accumulation of plaque in the legs causes narrowing of the arteries. This reduces blood flow to the limbs causing pain, numbness, and weakness as well as other symptoms. It is an especially serious condition for diabetics.

What is Lipedema?

Lipedema is a condition that causes excess fat to accumulate in an irregular way usually in the legs, buttocks and sometimes arms. The condition only affects women does not affect the hands or feet. Symptoms include pain and swelling.
