We carry a variety of Pumps and Sleeves including BIO-COMPRESSION
Total Compression Pumps carries an assortment of compression pumps that treat Lymphedema, Venous Insufficiency, Peripheral Artery Disease and Deep Vein Thrombosis. Our compression pumps are the easiest and most cost effective way to treat these conditions.
Our pneumatic compression pumps mimic the lymphatic system. Their “milking” effect promotes lymphatic flow by moving fluid in the proper physiological direction, bottom to top. It copies mechanisms of the pumping action of muscles to return fluid back into the circulatory and lymphatic systems. Compression Therapy is safe, non-invasive and simple to use. Clinical evidence supports the opinion that compression pumps are quite effective in treating the above conditions.
HOW COMPRESSION PUMP WORKS
Pneumatic Compression Devices consist of garments or sleeves, (for arms, legs, trunk) that are connected to a pneumatic compression pump with tubing. There are 4-8 individual chambers in each garment/sleeve. Compressed air fills each chamber of the sleeve, from bottom (foot, hand area) to top. Pressure is applied to the affected limb(s) and the excess, stagnant fluid, which causes swelling, is compressed upward and drains into working lymph nodes where it gets carried away and eliminated from the body. Pump pressure is controlled by the patient and can be set from 10-120 mmHG’s. Pressure is greater at distal (bottom) area of limb and decreases slightly as it continues upward, which is how our own lymphatic system works. The compression also helps circulate blood which decreases pain and swelling, prevents blood clots/ blood pooling, promotes wound/ulcer healing. and encourages overall better health. There are two main types of Compression Pumps;
Uncalibrated Pump (E0651)– segmented, gradient multi-chamber devices with multiple outflow ports. All chambers of the sleeve are set at a fixed pressure.
Calibrated Pump (E0652)– segmented, gradient, multi-chamber devices with multiple outflow ports. Individual chambers of the sleeve can be set at different pressures. They are similar to the pump described above except that it is possible for patient to set pressure in the individual chambers of sleeve. Example, chamber 1 would be set at 50 mmHG’s, chamber 2 – 20 mmHG’s, chamber 3 – 40 mmHG’s and chamber 4 – 30 mmHG’s. These types of pumps/settings are necessary for patients with venous stasis ulcers, severe pain and/or sensitivity in their extremities. For patients with these conditions, the calibrated pump is generally considered the preferred pump for doctors to prescribe.
WE CARRY ALL BIO-COMPRESSION PRODUCTS, as well as other manufacturers.
Our pumps are gradient, sequential, pneumatic compression devices, intended for the primary or adjunctive treatment of primary or secondary Lymphedema and Venous Insufficiency. The device is additionally intended to treat venous stasis ulcers as well as general treatment of swelling of the extremities. The device is intended for home use. They are MEDICARE approved covered by most insurance.
What Do They Do?
1. Reduces Pain & Edema (swelling)
2. Mimics the lymphatic system, carries stagnant lymph fluid to working lymph nodes
3. Promotes Lymphatic Flow by Moving Fluid in the Proper Physiological Direction distal to proximal (from foot to top of leg)
4. Stimulates Blood Circulation to Promote Wound Healing and Health
5. Delivers Continuous Flow
6. Bilateral Operation
Our Peripheral Artery Disease pump is a high pressure, rapid inflation pneumatic pump that increases arterial blood flow to affected limbs. Certain cardiac conditions, arteriosclerosis, and arterial ulcers are caused by blockages, venous insufficiency and poor circulation. Patients improve greatly with the use of a PAD pump.
Our DVT pumps deliver the proper compression to patient’s legs, so that blood within the arteries does not clot. This pump is used to prevent DVT for those who are prone to blood clots. The pump is commonly used after surgery, during long periods of confinement (in bed, car, plane) for those with sedentary life-style and circulatory issues.

MODELS E0651 AND E0652 PNEUMATIC COMPRESSION PUMPS
All our pumps are gradient, sequential, pneumatic compression devices, intended for the treatment of primary or secondary Lymphedema. The compression pump is intended for the treatment of Venous Insufficiency, Chronic Venous Stasis Ulcers as well as the general treatment of Lymphedema, pain and swelling of the extremities. The device can be used in the convenience of home or hospital use. E0651-recommended for treatment of Lymphedema and Venous Insufficiency. E0652- recommended for treatment of Lymphedema and Venous Insufficiency as well as serious Venous Stasis Ulcers, Wounds and/or limb tenderness.
WHAT DO E0651/E0652 PNEUMATIC COMPRESSION PUMPS DO?
Mimics the Lymphatic System
Promotes Lymphatic Flow by Moving Fluid in the Proper Physiological Direction (bottom to top)
Stimulates Circulation of Blood and Promotes Wound/Ulcer Healing
Pump can be used on one or both limbs
Delivers Continuous Flow, Portable, Cost-Effective
Convenient, home use
Rapid Inflation/Deflation Cycle Compression System that sequentially compresses both the foot and calf in patients suffering from Peripheral Arterial Disease (PAD).
Increases blood flow in lower limbs for those with Diabetes, Arteriosclerosis, Amputations (minor), Angioplasty, High Blood Pressure, Blood Clots The PAD pump creates collateral arteries and helps salvage limbs.
Provides treatment to prevent DVT (blood clots) after surgery, Prolonged inactivity (hospital stay, car or plane trips;) heart attack, Stroke or for those with cancer, paralysis, extra weight or smoke; Provides more rapid healing time after surgery Enhances venous and arterial circulation to prevent blood clots (Deep Vein Thrombosis) and swelling. Foot, Calf, Thigh Treatment; Single or bilateral garments available.
State of the Art compression pump delivers pressure to each and every chamber in the garment to give the best possible treatment. The SC-3008-DL lets the user program the pressure setting in any and all of the 8 chambers, always keeping greater pressure distal (bottom) so as to avoid any reflux.
Complete with a compliance meter to monitor patient use, the SC-3008-DL also has a countdown clock and a timer that shuts off the pump after one hour.
